As I was about to invoke my right to what I felt I deserved, I realized I had no right to question if life had been fair . I have a set of healthy parents, I eat three times a day, I was able to finish college … and I have a job. Those alone could make me feel ashamed of the supposed injustice I had earlier pondered on. So whenever you feel you’ve been treated unjustly, don’t complain, don’t let a string of contemptuous words escape your mouth. Instead, remain silent. Contemplate. Think about all the people who had it much harder than you, and you will realize how inconsequential your anger was.
